Discover, Define, Design, and Deliver

I followed HCD methods by first conducting user research. After synthesizing inspiring insights from surveys and interviews through user personas, The problem was defined and jumped right into the ideation phase. From sketches into fidelity prototypes, I gradually created the first version of the website. After conducting usability testings and will iterate more based on the feedback received.

User Interviews

In the early phase of this project, we conducted user interviews to get a better understanding of the methods that people use to improve their health and wellness. To guide the user towards meditation practices as a solution to maintain physical and mental health.

Few questions that we asked:
-
How much time does the 9-5 working class have for self-improvement or meditative time throughout the day?
-
How much is the awareness about practicing meditation for healthy living?
-
How many people prefer online sessions or prefer in-person sessions and why?
-
What were their thoughts after attending the first session of meditation?

These interviews provided a framework of understanding for the beginning stages of the design process for the system that would later be implemented as a cognitive-based tool therapy.
-
4-6 individuals each
-
One-on-one sessions

User Questions were based on key areas such as;
Goals, Prioritization, Prior experience with mental health management

User Personas
Based on the interviews/synthesis we set up user personas. We referred to them throughout the entire product development process.

User journey mapping
After user interviews, based on the data we have collected we moved into the mapping user journey. I mapped out the functional needs of the user before diving into the design.

Stages of the User Journey
After mapping out the user journey we created the stages of the user journey, starting from the discovery phase to the advanced level.

Prioritization Chart
The website feature prioritization is based on primarily two criteria.
The First criteria are regarding the differentiating feature for the user and the other requirement is the basic supported features.
Key features:
